Throughout human history, pandemics and other outbreaks of disease have often triggered and accelerated societal division, isolation of certain groups, family and subjective disruption, political disorder, emotional stress, among other outcomes. 
The threat of disease and related uncertainty exacerbate the underlying dynamics of conflict. Some groups turn inward while others are isolated or choose confinement. At first, individuals may experience insecurity and anxiety stemming from bewilderment over the unexpected and unknown character of the situation. However, eventually we are challenged to react and invent ways out which allow us to endure and cope with the hardships of the crisis in its various aspects. 
In order to confer meaning to these apparently invisible and unheard experiences, the 7th ECDDay will open space to different societal segments to narratives of resilience and resistance amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope that in telling the wide array of experiences the novel virus has inflicted on different groups and how they have overcome its challenges, the event may promote the exchange of knowledge between different social groups about the subjective experiences crossed by the pandemic, in order to give rise to processes of re-signification of its effects in some aspects of life today.

In the different dynamics that will make up the journey, the invited participants will be able to tell their narratives in English about the effects of the pandemic on the respective areas in which they work or spaces in which they circulate, having a facilitator for mediating the interaction between the participants and the remote audience.
