BRAFITEC Program

The Brafitec Program is an initiative of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) and consists of joint research and academic study projects in university partnerships between higher education institutions in France and Brazil, specifically for certain engineering fields at the undergraduate level. The objective of the program is to promote exchange between both countries and encourage the alignment of curricular structures, including the equivalence and mutual recognition of credits when validated by the coordinators of the involved courses.
Duration of Mobility:
- 1 or 2 academic semesters, to take courses and/or complete an internship;
- 2 years, to complete a double degree.
Benefits:
- Support provided by CAPES: health insurance, travel tickets, installation allowance, and monthly stipend;
- Experience in a multicultural environment;
- International academic experience;
- Enrollment at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) in the curricular component “international mobility” during the mobility period.
