Double Degree Program for International Students
The Universidade Federal de Uberlândia allows international students, through the Double Degree cooperation agreements established with partner universities, to acquire the UFU diploma at the end of the exchange. The double degree program works as follows: the international student undertakes part of his/her undergraduate degree at UFU, and, then, returns to his/her country to complete his/her studies at the home institution. After completing the studies, the student will receive a diploma validated by both institutions.
Exchange duration:
- between 1.5 (one and a half years) and 2 (two) years.
The duration will depend on the schedule specified in the Double Degree agreement signed between UFU and the student's home institution.

Requirements
To be eligible to participate in the Double Degree Program at UFU, the international student must:

be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at an international institution of higher education that holds a Double Degree agreement with UFU

be an excellent student

have attended at least one semester of classes at his/her home institution

be selected by the home institution

have a Portuguese Language Proficiency Certificate for Foreigners (Celpe-Bras) with a minimum level B1, or mandatorily attend the Portuguese classes offered by UFU during the exchange program.
