Who We Are

Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) is a prominent Brazilian public university recognized for its robust commitment to internationalization and academic excellence.

Currently, in addition to students of international exchange programs, UFU has students from other countries participating in programs that include the completion of the entire undergraduate degree at UFU.

The MARCA Program was developed and implemented by the Mercosur Education Sector to promote the improvement of academic quality through assessment and accreditation systems and academic exchange programs.

The Universidade Federal de Uberlândia allows international students, through the Double Degree cooperation agreements established with partner universities, to acquire the UFU diploma at the end of the exchange.

The Brafitec Program (Brazil France Ingénieur Technologie), created in 2002 and implemented in 2003, is a bilateral exchange program for undergraduate engineering students. The Brafitec Program allows French Engineering Schools and Brazilian Universities to establish agreements for collaboration

UFU makes it possible for foreign students, through bilateral cooperation agreements, dual diploma cooperation agreements, and specific programs (such as Bracol, Brafitec, Bramex, and Marca) established with partnering institutions, to realize international exchanges in their undergraduate course
